My October To Be Read Pile

Happy Halloween month! I can’t believe we are this far into 2015 already. I love October and am already excited about Halloween. My family is going to dress up in Star Wars costumes this year. Kiddo will be Darth Vader, hubby will be Obi Wan and I’m going to be Princess Leia. Last year we had a batman theme…

Halloween

I’m thinking up a fun thing for the blog for this month too…hopefully I can get it together in a timely manner. It has absolutely nothing to do with books but I think it’ll be fun regardless.

Now…to the books…

October TBR

Looking at my TBR I’m realizing I don’t have a ton of creepy reads! I’m nearly done with A Madness So Discreet (it’s amazing!) and I think Flashes is creepy?

What do you have planned for this month?

Do you dress up for Halloween?

Thank you! It’s fun to dress as a family and we’ve got to take advantage of it while the kiddo isn’t embarrassed to be seen with us.

I hope we both love Dreamstrider!

Awww, I love when family’s do an overall theme on their Halloween costume. Your family’s costume from last year is adorableeee.

I don’t have any creepy reads in October either, which makes me kind of sad.

I hope Brennan won’t get embarrassed and not want to do it! I worry that one year he’ll be like…no way parents! I’d have liked a more scary list of books but oh well. I’ll have to indulge in spooky elsewhere.

Oh my goodness I LOVE that you and your family members do themed costumes for Halloween! So adorable. I’m glad to hear you loved A Madness So Discreet — it’s on MY TBR this month and I’m looking forward to reading it 🙂

Aw! Such awesome costumes:D I would love to do something like that when I have kids!

Unfortunately, October is when my uni work picks up, so I’m not even bothering to put together a TBR. I’ll be lucky to finish one book:/ I hope you like Ice like Fire–I did!

It is really fun to dress as a family! I’m really excited about Star Wars this year. Oh man. Yeah, I remember uni work being heavier at this time. I hope you love the book you end up reading.

Those are some epic family costumes! I’m looking forward to your thoughts on Dreamstrider (which didn’t quite work for me) and A Madness So Discreet which I have been seeing a lot about.

Thank you Carina! I’m so excited about this year’s costumes. I am waiting on my husband’s Obi costume. I’m nervous it won’t arrive on time! I’m so excited to read Immortal Heights knowing you loved it.

Awww, you guys look so frigging adorable!!! LOVE THE COSTUMES!!! I wish I could be more brave to do this where I live, but ehh, my fear of people thinking less of me gets in the way. It looks so fun though, I just need to be more confident and flaunt it.

Also, your TBR for this month looks kick. Ass. ESPECIALLY BLACKHEARTS! I requested it on EW but the publisher hasn’t gotten back to me yet D: Hopefully you read that first and tell us if it’s good 😉

The Batman costume theme is ADORABLE! Such a lovely picture. 🙂 I’m reading A Madness So Discreet now, and I am LOVING it. It’s so creepy and twisted and oh my gosh I already adore the main character. I can’t wait to continue it. I hope you get through some of these books by the time October ends! They all sound great.
