I would have to say CELL by Stephen King. It was really scary however I found I couldn’t put it down and ended up reading it in one night. π And just recently I have been on a total zombie high where I have been watching zombie movies, tv shows and reading zombie books. I was reading one of Jonathan Marberry’s books with zombies and I kept hearing weird noises outside my window and it was totally freaking me out! π
I entered your Something Wicked Returns Giveaway.
It would be great to win my choice of scary book up to $20 from the Book Depository.

I read Anna Dressed in Blood and absolutely loved it!! Haven’t read too many scary novels but definitely looking forward to reading more!!
I need to read more scary books. I think I would have been too freaked out when I was younger. I love Gillian Flynn though, and her books are a bit creepy in a realistic way, esp. Dark Places.

I don’t think I have a favorite scary book but most of Stephen King’s books give me the willies and I love it
Anna Dressed in Blood was a great scary book!
I barely read scary stories, I never know what I will like or not like! I used to read Goosebumps a lot when I was younger! Those scared me quite a bit.
cujo or It by Stephen King!

I cant think of a book that terrified me–but i will not read any clown books -they do scare me.. Dystopian books kind spook me out the most and leaves me with a what if…

The Ring by Koji Suzuki.
The Shining by Stephen King scared me absolutely to death. I had trouble walking past decorative shrubs for years because I knew they were going to whisper to one another and move behind me as soon as I was past. And staying in hotel rooms has certainly lost its appeal. Now I wonder what REALLY happened in the room I’m currently inhabiting. Thanks for the giveaway. michelle_willms@yahoo.com
The Shinning. Thanks for the chance π
Terrified is a strong word but I felt scared when I read Carrie by Stephen King… I know he is a great author but some of his books leave me freaked out. I read another one… I think it was called Cell and it had pretty much the same effect.

I read Gerald’s Game by Stephen King when I was alone in the house and confined to my bed after knee surgery…not the best decision I’ve ever made. I still shudder just thinking about it. Thanks for the chance to win!
Hm… Honestly, no books have actually terrified me. That’s probably because I didn’t read Anna Dressed in Blood… XD
Anyway, a book that came close to making me feel terrified is Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. Stephen King is amazing! His plot twists remind me of the endings of Goosebumps, a series I used to read when I was younger. Anyway, I’m trying to find time to read Anna Dressed in Blood because I’ve heard a lot of positive feedback. I’m excited to see how scary it will be!
