Another week behind us…January is proving to be passing by fast for me. I can’t seem to get my head wrapped around the fact that it’s 2014 and close to midmonth. My son starts soccer soon and is celebrating a birthday…when did he get this old? I’ve been working very hard to get ahead of schedule with my posts. Wish me luck in keeping up the momentum.
Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is a weekly meme where you show what books you’ve purchased, gotten from the library, received from giveaway, as gifts or for review. So excited about this book haul!
For Review (via Edelweiss):

Rebel and Meridian are both sequels–check out my review for Reboot and Arclight

What did you get this week?
Yay 😀 I got Rebel as well. <3 And The Falconer 🙂 Hope you'll love everything Kristen. <3 Happy reading! And good luck keeping up with everything 🙂
Yay to Rebel! I imagine it will be wonderful. I am so excited for The Falconer…my request had been pending forever so I might have jumped up and down and squeaked when I got approved.
Great haul! I love the cover for The Falconer, it’s gorgeous. I hope you enjoy all of your books 🙂 My STS.
I love the cover too. I wasn’t as into it at first because I loved the UK version so much but it has really grown on me. Thanks for stopping by.
Nice haul of books. I see that a lot of interesting titles came to you this week. The Falconer looks really good.
Grace
Thank you Grace! I have been so excited about The Falconer 🙂
I love the cover for The Falconer. That red hair is so pretty. I have both Reboot and Arclight on my Kindle, but haven’t read either yet. I’ve heard good things about both. Great haul!
I love how vivid her hair is too. Beautiful. I hope you love Reboot and Arclight when you can fit them in.
I can’t wait to read Rebel! I may have to skip ahead on my reading schedule to get to this one.
To answer your question on my post: I didn’t request Meridian, because I haven’t read Arclight. But I bought it, though! (Super cheap from The Book Outlet.) I still remember your great interview with McQuein, so I hope I can get to it soon. And I’ll go ahead and pat myself on the back for not requesting the sequel to the uread first book. 🙂
Go you for your self control! You are doing so much better than me at that. I just can’t resist requesting and downloading if I’m -sure- I’m going to love the book 🙂 You deserve a pat on the back for sure. Can you teach me about self control?
I also got Rebel and the Falconer. I skipped Meridian because I haven’t read Arclight and am not sure it’s for me. I did really enjoy her other book, Premeditated, so maybe I’ll just wait for her to write another suspense novel instead!
P.S. Look forward to Rebel zombie LEGOS….
I’ve yet to read Premeditated but I really enjoy her writing so I’m sure I’d like that one too. Her Arclight series with its sci-fi elements appeal more to me.
ZOMBIE LEGOS, yes this needs to happen.
What a cool haul!! I can’t wait to see what you think of Rebel! I also requested it on Edelweiss, but my luck there is quite sparse!
I also cannot wait to both read and see what you think of the Falconer!
Happy reading!
Yes, the Falconer! So freaking excited about that one 🙂 I was convinced I’d not get approved since my request was pending forever. I was beyond ecstatic when I saw that I could download it.
Nice covers, new titles I don’t know.
Both Rebel and Meridian are sequels but The Falconer is not. If you decide to delve into any of them I hope they are enjoyable
Don’t you just love the cover of THE FALCONER? When I see a sword on the cover of a YA books, I just have to read it!
Do I ever!? I think I might, just might, prefer the UK version but honestly they are both beautiful.
YAY FOR THE FALCONER! I’ve had that one, but I probably won’t get to it for a while. I cannot wait to read it though! I prefer the UK cover, but the USA cover is not bad 🙂
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
I won’t get to it for a while either since it doesn’t release in the next couple of months. I prefer the UK one too but the US one has grown on me lots.
Rebel sounds great, especially since I really enjoyed Reboot! I’m intrigued by The Falconer, too. I hope you enjoy all of your books 🙂
Thank you Montana. I hope that Rebel is as good as we are all expecting/hoping. I’m very optimistic.
Oh, I’m so excited for Rebel! I didn’t realise it was coming out so soon! I hope you enjoy it. 😉 My StS!
Thank you Cait! It seems like yesterday Reboot came out! I remember hearing the TeaTime ladies talking about it. crazy how fast books come out and time flies.
I haven’t starter either of the series books you go yet, but I hope you enjoy them! I like the cover of The Falconer a lot.
Me too! Have you seen the UK cover? I wish to have a copy of each.
i’ve been eyeing falconer. i love red-head heroines especially in fantasy novels. i don’t know…lol the red hair makes them more badass…? awesome books this week. happy reading 🙂
hope you can stop by my StS/Sunday Post.
-michelle @ Michelle & Leslie’s Book Picks
I totally agree about red heads in fantasy! Hopefully The Falconer’s MC is badass. Thank you for stopping by 🙂
Great books! I want Rebel so, so bad!
*crosses fingers you get rebel soon and we both enjoy it*
Oooo…. how was Fire and Flood??? And I’ll have to check back to read your Cress review once I’ve finished mine! Can’t wait to hear what you think of The Falconer too. That’s one I’ve been interested in.
Hope you have a fantastic week of reading! 🙂
Fire & Flood was sort of mixed for me. I’ve posted my review if you want details on my thoughts. Do you have it to review? I would love to hear how you feel about it.
Yay, Cress!
I can’t wait to start Meridian and The Falconer. Both are going to be phenomenal…I just know it. I also got Rebel, but I wasn’t as impressed with Reboot as everyone else seemed to be. But it was because of all the great reviews that I bought myself the audio in the first place. I’m hoping this sequel redeems the series for me. 🙂 Keep up the good work with the scheduling…I only ever get about three days ahead…and I never *stay* ahead. 🙁
I like Reboot but admit that I enjoyed Arclight more. I am very eager to read Rebel because I’m optimistic it’ll add on the aspects I enjoyed from the first book. I KNOW Meridian is going to be amazing.
I’ve heard great things about Rebel. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
And ahh The Falconer! I desperately want to read that one.
Enjoy all your lovely books Kristen! (:
Thank you Kelly! I have been crazy eager for The Falconer. I’m going to have to wait a bit longer before the ol reading schedule lets me have room for it. Super excited though.
