Hello April. I hope the month has started well for you all. We’ve had a couple of changes around here.
Poor Watson was so lonely and was crying almost every night. None of us had been sleeping very well. We decided to let him try to live with Sherlock for a bit and see if that works out. So far he doesn’t cry anymore and they are becoming fast friends. I’ll have to post some pictures of the two of them together because they are entirely too cute. I was heartbroken to part with Watson but we’ve already visited him and he just seems so much happier with a doggy buddy. I guess it is fate that Watson and Sherlock be room-mates.
To book related things-I’ve started Ann Brashares The Here and Now and House of Ivy and Sorrow. Neither book has really gripped me so far. I hope to finish both soon and have their reviews up this next week. We will be doing The Kiss of Deception as our Lego Cover Art this month–so excited to see how it will turn out. I have been trying desperately to think up a discussion post but I keep coming up with nothing.
I don’t have many book requests out and I’m trying to stay away from requesting books on Netgalley and Edelweiss because I feel like my piles are growing to a level I’m not going to be able to manage. I’m actually 6 (!!!) books behind on my Goodreads reading challenge.
Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is a weekly meme where you show what books you’ve purchased, gotten from the library, received from giveaway, as gifts or for review. So excited about this book haul:
