Hello and happy weekend to you all. I’m happy that fall is almost (officially) here! I’ve already gotten the house decorated and now I’m just waiting for the weather to cool down.
On the book front this week was rather slow though the two books I did receive are wonderful and I’m very excited to read them. At the moment I’m reading In a Handful of Dust by Mindy McGinnis and The Young Elites by Marie Lu. Both books I’ve been insanely eager to read. I’ve started to reread The Bone Season in anticipation of the next book though I have no clue when and if I’ll get an advanced copy. Really, I just miss Warden. I’ve gotten my dad and now my sister to read it so I needed to relive it myself.
Last week I read Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay and I loved it. It was exactly the type of book I was in the mood for-fun, fast paced with characters I fell in love with.

I read Poisoned Apples for review a while ago. It is a feminist based book of poems. It was interesting to say the least. I wasn’t the biggest fan of it but there were a couple that I liked.
I loved Poisoned Apples! It was totally unique and beautiful. One of my favorite reads of the year. I hope you love it too!

Oh, I’m so jealous of Poisoned Apples. That’s one of the titles that I can’t wait to read! Enjoy it.
Oo, I’m very excited to hear what you think of Stone in the Sky! How did you feel about book one?
I am reading Stone in the Sky right now. I love Tula. ๐
Can you believe I had missed the fact that Tin Star already had a sequel with ARCs out? I must have been more disconnected than I thought this week!
I have been feeling like re-reading a fave book as of late but then I look at my pending ARCs and just feel guilty and end up not reading anything!
Happy reading Kristen!
I mostly liked Poisoned Apples – the poetry was beautiful. And the cover is beautiful ๐ I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a fabulous week ๐

I got an e-ARC of Tin Star, but I had a bunch of problems — I think it wasn’t for Kindle and I had to put it on my son’s ancient Nook and then it expired — and I never got to read it ๐ I did read Rose Sees Red and really enjoyed it, so I do intend to read these one day….
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
