Stacking the Shelves

May is already wrapping up, how did that happen? Not a whole lot happened this week and I’ve decided to take next week off from the blog so don’t expect any new posts except for a Stacking the Shelves (if I get any books) next weekend. Since a lot of you will be attending BEA I thought it would be a great time to try to get ahead on writing reviews and focus on some other things (perhaps that towering stack of books?)

Now for the new additions from this last week. Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is a weekly meme where you show what books you’ve purchased, gotten from the library, received from giveaway, as gifts or for review.

For Review- Thank you HarperTeen for the beautiful finished copies!

TMCandMeridian

Meridian by Josin L. McQuein and The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings

For Review (via Edelweiss):

Jackaby

Jackaby by William Ritter

I actually got approved last week but somehow forgot it on last week’s StS! I can’t believe it since I’ve been obsessing about this book since I heard about it. Sounds absolutely amazing. I’ll be reading it in a couple of weeks.

Won- Thank you The Reading Nook Reviews for the wonderful giveaway!

DarkTriumph

Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers

I love this and His Dark Assassin so much. I originally had them only on E-book so I’m having to collect the hardcovers because I must have them for my collection. They are so beautiful. I can’t wait to have all three on my shelves.

Posts from last week:

  • Review of She Is Not Invisible    star
  • Discussion– I admitted to being obsessed with UPS My Choice
  • Discussion– If I were going to BEA which books I’d have to get

I plan on doing a good amount of reading this next week–I am almost done with Midnight Thief and will start The Murder Complex. I hope to succeed in reading more from my pile and also figuring out my priority reads for June. Since I won’t be posting actively next week I hope to get a good amount of reviews written and prepped to go. I tend to never have posts done in advance but I’d like to change that. Also, the Lego art is still in works. I have gotten a great start on The Kiss of Deception and plan to work on it and Heir of Fire. Why does there never seem to be enough hours in a day?

Stacking the Shelves

Hi guys! Another week is behind us and more books have been added to our shelves. Many bloggers are amping up for BEA and getting prepped for that amazing experience. I’ll not be attending so I’ll be home dreaming of what it would be like. I have created a wish list of BEA books that I’ll share next week (thank you Jenna for the inspiration!)

I can’t believe Christmas is right around the corner! I hope everyone is having a great holiday season. Last week was a rather stressful week due to my husband getting in a wreck. Thank God he is fine but our car was totaled. We have a plan to deal with it all so things are looking better but I obviously didn’t have a lot of time to read or write reviews. I hope to review Her Dark Curiosity, Red Rising and Avalon next week (fingers crossed!)
