My December To Be Read Pile

Ack! It’s December and I don’t feel ready! This month my blog turns 3 years old! AHHHH. How is that possible? Look for a post about that soon. I’ve not planned anything yet but hopefully inspiration hits.

So for this month I’m focusing on mostly January releases. I’m incredibly excited about my pile…

But, before I start any of these I will be finishing Frozen Tides and Their Fractured Light. Both books are really well done so yay!

What are you planning to read this month? Have you read any in my pile yet?

My November To Read Pile

How is it November? I can’t fathom how October is already over. I’ve yet to start any Christmas shopping and I still don’t feel overly festive. It’s been in the 70’s and 80’s around here so that could be it. I best start getting prepped because I’m having both sides of the family here for Thanksgiving. I think it’ll be 14 people? *passes out*

I’ve probably given myself too large a stack of books to read since I have so many other things I’m working on- My Friends Are Writers, Thanksgiving, prep for Christmas, life…just so much to do at this time of year. I do love it though.

My TBR

NovemberTBR
I’ve already started a large amount of these but haven’t gotten very far. The Immortal Heights hasn’t really hit the reading spot. I keep picking it up but putting it aside. This distresses me since I loved the first two books. Why can’t I be loving this one?? I’m half way through Ten Thousand Skies Above You and so far it’s been a fun read. I decided to throw in The Book of Ivy FINALLY. My friend Regina gave this one to me ages ago but I’ve not had time to squeeze it in. With the sequel being out soon I figured I should get on it. I’ve heard great things. Have you heard of Dangerous Lies? I haven’t.

Posts for This Month

  • Reviews for Ten Thousand Skies Above You, Passenger and more
  • Blog Tour for Every Word: November 20th. I’m hoping to do a Lego cover for this one!
  • Lego Cover for Frozen Tides? I’m really hoping to get this one completed sooner than later.

What do you have planned from now until the end of the year? Can you believe 2015 is so close to being over?

My May To Be Read Pile + Link Your TBR Post!

It’s May (or rather BEA month –I’llĀ  not be there but it’s still BEA Month)! I need a fresh new start since I’ve been feeling a bit bogged down with posting and reviewing. I know that last year I felt about the same at this point in the year and I took BEA week off. I might do that again–I haven’t decided just yet. I’m hoping I can get energized and excited about new blog post ideas but we’ll see.

My March TBR Pile

February was one heck of a month. A lot of bad happened and some good too…March hasn’t started off that much better but I’m optimistic it will improve. I have really enjoyed the books I’ve been reading. This month has a great selection and I’m really excited to escape reality into these books. Here’s a look at the month…

Pile of Books

MarchTBR2015

This is a rather small pile but I’m not wanting to feel stress these days. I’ve been reading at a slower pace so figured this was manageable. I think I’ll begin with Magonia. I’m so exciting and hope it lives up to my expectations. Have you read it yet?

Upcoming Posts for March

  • March 3- Blog Tour for A Darker Shade of Magic by Victoria Schwab
  • March 5- Blog Tour for The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski
  • March 10- Interview with Lauren DeStefano
  • Reviews for Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver, Stone in the Sky by Cecil Castellucci, The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows and more.

My September TBR Pile

If you read my recent post about my overwhelming TBR pile you know that September is a CRAZY month for book releases. There. Are. So. Many. I have no clue if I’ll be able to get through them all but I’m going to try and also through in a couple October releases.

And, can I just say, it’s already September! I can’t believe the summer is at a close and fall is soon upon us. My birthday is this month as well.

My pile:

september2014TBR

I won’t go through all the titles and post the Goodreads link because- laziness. I’m incredibly excited about this pile and hope that I can read them all. I also haven’t looked to see which e-arcs I have to read so my list could grow by a bit. I need to stop downloading e-arcs because I’m so bad at getting around to them.

Coming this month:

  • Interview with Will Ritter author of Jackaby + giveaway (signed copy!)
  • September 9-Blog tour for The Witch’s Boy by Kelly Barnhill. I’ll be sharing the third part of the prequel novella
  • September 19-Blog tour for Haze by Paula Weston- Guest post

How about you? What books are you reading this next month?
