Here at My Friends Are Fiction there is nothing we love more than great books, cover art and LEGOs. What could be better than our favorite covers redone in Lego? The answer–nothing.
This time we’ve done Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi. I hadn’t realized just how dark they had Perry’s hair on the cover until working on this but we decided to keep it close to the original cover rather than the description in the book.
This is the third and last in the Under the Never Sky series-you can see my thoughts on this final book here.
Our next cover will be from the highly anticipated book The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski–look for our Lego cover next month.

Omg I freaking love these covers!!! Legos are awesome. You rock π
Thank you!!! We are pretty obsessed with doing them
This is so cool! How did you do it? Love it π
I’m a photographer and my husband is great at Photoshop so we teamwork them. Thanks so much for visiting!
Yet another AMAZING cover! Please do not ever stop doing these π
(The smirk on Perry’s face!)
His smirk and muscles crack me up π We have no plans of ever stopping…way too many amazing covers to choose from!
Wow, Kristen! These covers are so VERY impressive! Awesome work! On average, how long does it take you and your husband to design one of these?
My favorite has got to be The Girl of Nightmares cover. You guys really went all out with the ghostly Legos. Gahhh. Beautiful! π
Marlene @ The Flyleaf Review
Thanks Marlene…it depends on the cover as to how long it takes. I think the shortest was 3-4 hours the longest 9hrs? Worth it though because they are so fun to make.
I really love the GoN cover too π My husband had a blast making the ghosts.
Wow that is seriously awesome!
Thanks for sharing! <33
Thank you Mel!
Ahh! It is gorgeous π And such a good book. Sigh. Thank you both so much for making and sharing <3
Thanks Carina!
This IS BRILLIANT!! WOW!! Kristen, you guys always do such an amazing job with the LEGO covers!!
And I’m super excited to see The Winner’s Curse LEGO too!!
Honestly, I can’t wait to see how TWC Lego comes out-the pictures are taken so it’ll be very soon. Thanks so much π
Omg this is awesome! Look at that hair! and those chest muscles! HAHA! What a sexy beast! I’m excited to see The Winnerβs Curse’s cover too that one will not be easy for you to do, though, but it will so be worth it, me thinks!
Yep, The Winner’s Curse has some challenges–but imagining that little Lego hand holding the ‘R’=priceless. going to crack me up.
That is seriously cute! I have very little photoshop skills!
I’m ok at Photoshop but my husband is stellar. thanks for stopping by!
I adore these…please never stop doing them! π I love how her hair is flowing and his chest muscles and just everything. So great! I can’t wait to see The Winner’s Curse…specifically the hand holding the R! I love that aspect on the cover.
Thank you Jen! there are entirely way too many amazing covers that need to be seen as Lego so I don’t see us stopping anytime soon π I can’t wait to see the Lego hand holding the R. -)
Very cool!
Thanks!
LOVE! I laughed when I saw this one. And I had no idea they could take 9 hours, so thanks!!
Thanks also for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
Thanks Jen! This one didn’t take nearly that long. It makes me laugh too…who’d of thought Perry and Aria would be so adorable as Lego Mini-figures?
Ahahaha, I LOVE this! They really do look like Aria and Perry! They’re pretty adorable, actually π
Thank you Celine…I think they make pretty great Lego figures π
Wow!! Fun and great job. I love the Lego games!!
Thank you Angie!!
After finding your cute lil lego inspired blog,,I’m just stalking it every day! My son loves lego as much I do and your covers are so cute! Can’t wait for the lego movie. π
This makes me so happy! It was such a sporadic idea to redo covers in Lego–I was afraid people would be like ‘wha??” but people seem to love mini-figures as much as I do. I really can’t think of anything that isn’t a little bit funnier or cooler in lego.
I love this one, so cool!
