If I Were Going to BEA- The Books I’d Want + Giveaway

Another year, another BEA I can’t make. This will be my third BEA since I started blogging and though it’s sad and a tad lonely it is still such an exciting event for the book blogging community (even when you’re at home).

I did this last year and it was so much fun so I figured I’d do it again. This year Crystal at Bookiemoji is joining me and we’re each doing giveaways.

Ironically enough this original post (last year) was inspired by Jenna from Jenna Does Books post BEA 2014 My Most Anticipated Titles Who now co-blogs with Crystal.

Not in order of desire…

These I KNOW Will Be at BEA

SixofCrows Truthwitch Soundless

Maybe at BEA

LegacyofKings FrozenTides WalktheEarthaStranger

TheImmortalHeights ThisMThing

As far as I know these are the titles that I’d be wanting to grab if I was going to BEA. What am I forgetting!? I’m sure there are many, many books I’m forgetting.

One of my readers will win a pre-order of one of these above titles! This giveaway is international (if Book Depository ships to you)
a Rafflecopter giveaway

Be sure to visit Bookiemoji to check out Crystal’s wish-list and enter to win another pre-order!

Thank you for the giveaway! Lots of great books there, very excited for Six of Crows. I hadn’t heard of Soundless before now, but after checking out the description on Goodreads I am now desperate to get my hands on it!

  2. says

I’m not going to BEA either. 🙁 But if I were, I think my most anticipated book would be Black Widow: Forever Red or The Scorpion Rules. Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. says

Not going to BEA either 🙁 One of the problems of living on the other side of the pond. As for your question, I’ve been hearing such great things about Truthwitch on Twitter that I can’t help but go all grabby hands whenever I see it. Six of Crows sounds awesome too though! Thanks for the giveaway 😀

  4. says

Unfortunately I won’t be at BEA either! 🙁

But I can’t wait for Black Widow! And Six of Crows, that cover is amazing!
    Thank you for doing this.

  5. says

The entire top row is just WOW. But I’m mostly looking forward to reading Six of Crows. It feel like I’ve waited forever and it’s still so far away.

I’m sad I can’t attend BEA this year. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to be there next year!

  6. says

If I was at BEA, I would be desperate to get my hands on Truthwitch, Ice Like Fire, Walk on Earth a Stranger, A Thousand Nights, & Soundless. I’ve already managed to get an eARC of The Legacy of Kings off NetGalley :). Thanks for the giveaway!

  7. says

All of those books look good! My most anticipated BEA book is probably Six of Crows. I’m sorry that you don’t get to go. I’m not going either. Fun idea to throw a we don’t get to go party.

  8. Dawn says

Soundless by Richelle Mead. I didn’t even know she wrote a new book! O.O
You give the best giveaways 🙂

  9. says

I really, really want Truthwitch and Soundless. I have an eARC of Walk on Earth a Stranger or that would be on the list as well. Thank you for this awesome giveaway! 🙂

  10. says

Oh lordy! There are SOOOO many! Most of the ones you listed: Truthwitch, Soundless, Six of Crows, Frozen Tides, This Monstrous Thing…so many! I stopped looking at the lists after awhile! LOL! Thanks for the contest!

  11. says

Both Sherry Thomas and Rae Carson’s books are on Edelweiss – you can request them! 🙂 I’ve request Walk on Earth a Stranger because I absolutely adored RC’s first trilogy! I’d love to read Six of Crows too; there’s a lot of hype surrounding it. Soundless also seems a little different and I loved RM’s Vampire Academy series, although I couldn’t get into Bloodlines – I guess Sydney’s narration didn’t quite work for me. xx

  12. Katie says

It is most definitely SIX OF CROWS. I will read anything Bardugo puts out…and that COVER? GORGEOUS. Thanks for the giveaway!

  13. says

I’m not sure who is all going to be at BEA this year but Walk on Earth a Stranger looks awesome. I see everyone talking about Six of Crows and I have no clue what it’s about. I need to go look that one up. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope you have a great time. It sounds like a blast!

  14. says

Walk on Earth a Stranger sounds pretty amazing and that cover is just gorgeous. I’m also very excited for The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness. Thanks so much for the giveaway! =)

  15. says

Oh man I have to pick one! I am so excited for so many books! Like Frozen Tides, Six of Crows, Passenger, A whole new world, A thousand nights. There are so many more but that would be pages upon pages!

  16. says

if there was a new one in the others series by anne bishop at BEA that would be my top favourite ( or a new fangborn title by dana cameron) but from your selection ( since i don’t know what will be there^^;;) thruthwitch seems more than tempting

  17. says

I’ve seen so many people anticipating Truthwitch! I haven’t read Susan Dennard’s other work, so I have no idea if her writing works for me or not. Six of Crows is definitely one I’ve been looking forward to, as well as Richelle Mead’s latest.

  18. says

Six of Crows, followed by Truthwitch. Or maybe Truthwitch, followed by Six of Crows. Don’t make me decide! Thanks for the giveaway. 😀

  19. says

Hands down my most anticipated book that will be at BEA is Dumplin’. If I were going to BEA, that’d be number one on my list of ARCs to pick up! There are so many more, but that is NUMBER ONE. Thanks so much for the giveaway! This is so nice of you!

  20. rida zahid says

My most anticipated books have to be Truthwhich and The Immortal Heights. I wish I could go to BEA… Thanks for the giveaway 🙂 😀

  21. Emily Crowell says

Definitely Six of Crows, because I LOVED the shadow and bone series, and though Nikolai won’t be in this series *sob* I’m still hoping Ms. Bardugo’s genius will create characters I could love just as much 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!

  22. Kelly Braun says

To be totally honest~ they ALL sound great! I’d really give my eye-teeth for Legacy of Kings!

  23. says

Hi. <3 I love this post sweetie. But aw, I'm sorry you didn't have the chance to go to BEA this year 🙁 I wish I could have gone so badly. Sigh. ONE DAY. So many authors. So many books. So many people 🙂 The ARC I wanted the most.. Six of Crows. <3 But also a whole bunch of others, lol 🙂 Thank you so so much for this perfect giveaway Kristen 😀 You are amazing. Crossing my fingers. <3 Hope you are having a great week, despite not being at BEA 🙂

  24. thais pampado says

Six of Crows! Ever since I read the Grisha trilogy I can’t wait to go back to that world!

  25. Amber Hsu says

Id have to say that I’ve been waiting for Truthwitch for months now… and I’ve been in withdrawal from the Something strange and Deathly series since I finished them more than a year ago….

  26. says

Those books are on my to be read list as well! The covers are so pretty. I’m so bad, I always get drawn in by a pretty cover. The cover’s draw me to the book and then I read the synopsis and decide whether or not it’s a book I would be interested in.

I’m really excited by Truthwitch though, it sounds very interesting.

  27. Chenise J. says

Walk on Earth a Stranger for sure! That cover is simply breathtaking and the premise sounds so, so good!

  28. Jennifer Bui says

My most anticipated book at BEA would be Passenger and Six of Crows. I never read from these authors before so it’ll be nice to read their new books! Thanks for the giveaway!

  29. says

Not entering because I was lucky enough to go to BEA — for some of the time. Not all those books were there, or at least I didn’t see them. Truthwitch was really limited (and I wasn’t there the day it was given out) and I didn’t see anything on the bottom two rows except Legacy of Kings (which I didn’t get either). It was fun, but most of the books you can get elsewhere. At least that’s what I tell myself, because it’s also impossible to get everything there…
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen at YA Romantics

  30. Kaitlyn A says

Didn’t get to go to BEA this year, but I would love to have gotten a copy of Dream Things True!

  31. Mithila says

Ahhhh. Six of Crows, Passenger, Soundless, Truthwitch, and Beastly Bones!
(I completely forgot that Frozen Tides existed omg but that would be too, if it was at BEA)

  32. Nahir Almonacid says

I´m not going to BEA but The IMMortal Heights looks pretty good! Thanks for the giveaway

  33. hj says

Can I.. can I just have them all? Walk on Earth a Stranger has been my highest anticipated, only because I lovelovelove Rae Carson (and hello that cover) but Illuminae is another, and so is Immortal Heights.. Six of Crows.. Truthwitch..

All the pretties are just so pretty.

    Another amazing giveaway! Thank you.

  34. Danielle D says

It’s a toss up between Truthwitch and Six of Crows, but I think I’m going to lean TRUTHWITCH! 🙂

  35. Maryssa says

My most anticipated book that was at BEA that I SO wish I could’ve gotten at bookcon was Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy!

  36. says

I’m not 100% sure what’s at BEA since I’m australian, bUUUUUT. I really want to read Walk the Earth a Stranger after I tried Rae Carson’s The Girl of Fire and Thorns!!

  37. raph says

though i can’t attend due to the fact that i live thousands of kilometres and an ocean away and i can’t wait the day i will read every single one of these lovelies but especially ^^
    Soundless by Richelle Mead

  38. SepiaAutumnOwl says

The Immortal Heights cover looks so cool. Although my most anticipated book would be Truthwitch.

  39. Francis Alvarez says

The most anticipated book for me at BEA 2015 is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. Thank you for the giveaway 🙂

  40. Lauren says

Most anticipated book (on the list?) Such a tricky one. I could be lazy and just say all of them but Truthwitch and Six of Crows by far are my most HIGHLY anticipated up there on the list!

  41. Raychelle Steele says

Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I’m most excited for Legacy of Kings, Truthwitch, Frozen Tides, and Walk on Earth a Stranger. I won an ARC of Legacy o Kings and am reading it now and loving it! I would love to win a finished copy of any of these books! =)

  42. _Sandra_ says

I’m really excited for Six of Crows, Passenger, Illuminae and Black Widow: Forever Red.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  43. sarah s says

There are so many BEA books that sound awesome, on the top of the list are Soundless by Richelle Mead, Truthwitch by Susan Dennard and Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson.

  44. Megan C. says

I’ve been dying to read Six of Crows ever since the BEA chapter samplers were released! Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
