I’ve not done a post on my to read list for the last few months and I’ve really not been doing that great keeping up. So, I decided I’d do it again to see if I can somehow get back up to speed on all my reads.
Here’s what I hope to be able to read this month. I’ve started a good amount of these and am enjoying them so far. I’d love to get all of May read and get a good start on June books.
There are a lot of books I’m really looking forward to in that pile-though I must admit knowing I need to read them makes it a tad more stressful. I’m reading The Lovely and the Lost by Page Morgan with my wonderful friend Kelly from Effortlessly Reading. We plan on starting Hungry by H.A Swain afterward. I have a good start on The Last Policeman by Ben Winters and began A World Without Princes by Soman Chainani and The Immortal Crown by Richelle Mead over last weekend. I think I might be the most excited about Take Back the Skies by Lucy Saxon since I’ve been hearing some fun buzz about it.
Upcoming Reviews:
I plan on posting reviews for My Last Kiss by Bethany Neal, The Beautiful and the Cursed by Page Morgan, Stolen Songbird by Danielle Jensen all within the next week or so. Spoiler- I enjoyed them all. Of course, there will be other reviews for the remainder of May as well but these are the ones I’ve started.
Upcoming Lego Cover Art:
We are running so behind on the Lego cover art. We have pictures taken but have stalled out on the digital artwork due to life being busy. We are working on The Kiss of Deception by Mary Pearson now and will embark upon Heir of Fire by Sarah J Maas next. I look forward to sharing both! Hopefully sooner than later.
Hopefully I can read like the wind and make a dent in my to read pile for this month. What are you reading right now?
May is such a busy new release month! I just finished Life by Committee (reviewed today) and have Dark Metropolis and Free to Fall on my pile as well!

There are so many great books coming out this month. And I took your advice and started listing books that I have to read in the month, and it’s working out great. Sometimes I don’t finish all of them, but I do get a large chunk read.
So many wonderful books in May! Seriously, it seems that just in this year a ton of amazing things are releasing. The books never end 🙂 I’m so happy making the list is working for you! The months I did it I succeeded but then I got lazy in making the post and reading 🙁

I need to read the first book in the Richelle Mead series. I’ve heard some fantastic things and Richelle is one of my favorite authors.
I’m also really excited about Take Back the Skies. I should be reading it soon and I can’t wait. Looking forward to your lego cover arts!

I started TBTS and it’s very good! May really does have a ton of books. No complaints…they all look amazing.
Amazing book list. I hope you enjoy all of these. I am looking forward to reading a lot this month. My Last Kiss looks great. I like it that you do a list of what you want to read that month. I think that’s a good idea. I find myself getting behind or spending too much time picking out the next thing to read. I may try a book pile next month!

What a fantastic TBR pile! I wish I could make a pile like that and stick to it, but I’m such a mood reader these days. I’m hoping to get to Free to Fall and Dark Metropolis very soon. Both sound great! And all the reviews I’ve seen for Stolen Songbird make me wish I’d requested that one when I saw it on NG. Oh, well…it’s been added to my wishlist on Amazon. 😛
I try to stick to my pile. I’ll make it then choose by mood which to start with. that’s been working fairly well. I didn’t request Stolen Songbird either so bought myself a copy since the reviews were so good.
