My November To Read Pile

How is it November? I can’t fathom how October is already over. I’ve yet to start any Christmas shopping and I still don’t feel overly festive. It’s been in the 70’s and 80’s around here so that could be it. I best start getting prepped because I’m having both sides of the family here for Thanksgiving. I think it’ll be 14 people? *passes out*

I’ve probably given myself too large a stack of books to read since I have so many other things I’m working on- My Friends Are Writers, Thanksgiving, prep for Christmas, life…just so much to do at this time of year. I do love it though.

I’ve already started a large amount of these but haven’t gotten very far. The Immortal Heights hasn’t really hit the reading spot. I keep picking it up but putting it aside. This distresses me since I loved the first two books. Why can’t I be loving this one?? I’m half way through Ten Thousand Skies Above You and so far it’s been a fun read. I decided to throw in The Book of Ivy FINALLY. My friend Regina gave this one to me ages ago but I’ve not had time to squeeze it in. With the sequel being out soon I figured I should get on it. I’ve heard great things. Have you heard of Dangerous Lies? I haven’t.

Posts for This Month

  • Reviews for Ten Thousand Skies Above You, Passenger and more
  • Blog Tour for Every Word: November 20th. I’m hoping to do a Lego cover for this one!
  • Lego Cover for Frozen Tides? I’m really hoping to get this one completed sooner than later.

What do you have planned from now until the end of the year? Can you believe 2015 is so close to being over?

WHAT WHAT WHAT. YOU HAVEN’T READ THE IMMORTAL HEIGHTS. O_O Well. I hope you love it! You will. I really enjoyed it, and Dangerous Lies! I thought Soundless was amaaazing, until the ending (I think you saw my thoughts on it). Passenger! I literally just reviewed that one today (Monday) – gosh, the wait for Wayfarer will be painful (good painful? bad painful? which is it? mwahahaa). I hope you enjoy all of these, Kristen!

I really want to read Passenger and the Firebird books but I just haven’t got to them yet. I haven’t heard of Dangerous Lies, but hopefully you enjoy it =)

I’m definitely excited about Passenger. I’ve heard really great things about The Book of Ivy but haven’t really gotten around to checking it out yet. Seriously, a great set of books for the month!

You know I wasn’t really excited about Passenger but I recently re-read the summary. Now it just sounds so intriguing!! I’ve seen Dangerous Lies going around. But I’m not really interested since I was not a fan of Becca’s Black Ice :/ Funny because I did love her Hush Hush series but it was a long time ago

I am very curious to see some reviews of Radiance. My coworker got an ARC and it’s just so pretty! And sounds kind of cool.

Soundless was one of the first books I read after BEA. I liked it but I’m not sure about how the lack of hearing is handled in the story. I liked a lot of it but it would up being one I didn’t need to keep on my shelves.

I’m hoping to finish Passenger today (I simply couldn’t wait any longer to read it) and I am happy to report that it is FANTASTIC.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.

…I wasn’t finished, Chrome! I really want Radiance, but it’s only out in ebook in the UK at the moment. Valente’s writing is normally amazing, though. Hope you enjoy it!

Awesome TBR for the month! I actually just finished The Immortal Heights and really liked it. The beginning was a bit hard to get into but I’m happy with how the series ended 🙂 Passenger and Soundless are both on my tbr too. Although I probably won’t get to those until December.
