I was out of town last weekend so I didn’t post so this will be for two week’s worth of books. Boy, did I have a great haul these last two weeks. I love each of these books oh so much. I can’t wait to read the ones I’ve not read it.
Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is a weekly meme where you show what books you’ve purchased, gotten from the library, received from giveaway, as gifts or for review.
The Books
Ahhh! I love all of these so much! I have read End of Days (look for my review next week), Shadows (LOVE this series) and Ember in the Ashes. I’ve started Rook and I’m loving it.

I’ve interviewed a couple of these authors from my stack up above so I wanted to direct you over to their interviews if you’re interested.
- Interview with Sharon Cameron author of Rook. I interviewed Sharon a couple of years ago about her debut series. She talks about automatons and which fictional characters she wishes she’d written. So check it out especially if you’re on the fence about reading her other series.
- Interview with Sabaa Tahir author of An Ember in the Ashes. I adore Sabaa and her debut novel was exceptional. Learn more about how long she worked on it and her music play list.

I’ve not been as active commenting or replying to comments because I’ve not been in the mood to blog much this last week. I keep trying to get myself motivated but it wasn’t happening. So, I’m hoping that the fresh month of May will help inspire me. So far so good. May you will be an amazing month, right?
So glad I’m not the only one who stocks up on books, the only difference being you actually read them. I’m such a book hoarder and managed to buy about 40/50 books and struggling to find the time to read them, yet still carrying on purchasing them. Looking forward to your reviews 🙂 x

Ahh! Rook is one of my favorites! And Ember. I’m reading End of Days next! I think they sent me another copy too, I don’t know how I feel about that O_O I’m excited for Illuminae, though the size is a bit… off-putting. I hope you enjoy all of your new books! Have a lovely week, Kristen 🙂

My eyes totally zoomed in Illuminae! I am sooo pumped for this book! Just the uniqueness of it—with the way it’s written—makes me excited.
I’m taking a break for May, I keep on feeling low on motivation when it comes to blogging and writing reviews and when it comes to everything else, I’m gonna be bloody busy with the apartment so… taking a breather!
I cannot wait to read your interview with Renee Ahdieh and to see what you think of Rook & 5 to 1!!
Really like the sound of Rook – I’n in the mood for something dark and mysterious today – will add it to the list 🙂

I’m hoping my May reading will go better than my April did. Have a great reading month!
YAY for getting a bunch of amazing books lately sweetie 😀 They all look amazing. <3 Sigh. I hope you'll love reading those you haven't read already 😉 Happy reading Kristen. <3 I really liked Rook 🙂 And ah. End of Days. Very soon I shall start book one 😉 and read all three, I hope. Really want to love these books 🙂 BUT ILLUMINAE. I would murder for that one, lol. SO EXCITED FOR IT 😀 You better love it, hih. <3 And ohh. A Madness So Discreet. Oh, how I regret getting it from Edelweiss 🙁 I peeked a lot. Not a book for me at all. Sigh. It makes me sad, hih.
