Stacking the Shelves

Happy April! I’ve not been great at doing my weekly StS but instead of trying to round up all the books I’m just going to focus on last week’s mail.

Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tyngaโ€™s Reviews is a weekly meme where you show what books youโ€™ve purchased, gotten from the library, received from giveaway, as gifts or for review.

The Books

I couldn’t wait so I already read Ever the Hunted. I sort of dropped all the things to read. It was a quick read and very immersive. I’m a tad worried where the story left off and what it will mean for book 2. Gah! I won’t be happy if this one thing happens and….sooooo long until I’ll find out. That’s the only problem with reading something so early. Makes the wait for the sequel even longer. I think Queen of Hearts might be the next out of these that I’ll dive in to. Right now I’ve started The Skylighter and I’m really enjoying it.

The Hot Pterodactyl Boyfriend book is way too funny. I guess I’ll try it but I have no clue if I’ll be able to make it through that one! Seems really silly but hopefully fun?

Eleven Things I Promised by Catherine Clark
Ever the Hunted byย Erin Summerill
Queen of Hearts by Colleen Oakes
Away We Go by Emil Ostrovski
The Last Boy and Girl in the World by Siobhan Vivian
Please Don’t Tell by Laura Tims
Spark by Holly Schindler
Incriminated by M.G. Reyes
The Memory of Us by Camille Di Maio
Hot Pterodactyl Boyfriend by Alan Cumyn

How was your week? Read anything great?

Queen of Hearts! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I’ll be looking forward to seeing how you enjoy it. So far I’ve only read Wendy Darling by Oakes (and loved it to bits)–but I’ve been dying to get my hands on more.

Nice haul! Love the picture you’ve used on this post as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

many of these were unsolicited so I don’t know anything about them either!! I think I only requested Queen of Hearts and Ever the Hunted out of that bunch. Hopefully they are good!!

I’m really loving The Skylighter! I’m so happy I was able to get right back into the story without having to reread the first book. I hope you love Ever the Hunted!

Ah! So I was going to read Ever the Hunted early as well, but I’ll definitely wait. If it’s publishing in December, that means book two is publishing in December 2017… yeah, I’ll wait. ๐Ÿ˜€ I thought Queen of Hearts was okay! Not really that great (kind of annoying at times) but intriguing enough for me to want to read future books in the series. I do love the cover. I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Kristen!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a lovely weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚
