Top Ten Tuesday- Fall To Be Read

Fall is upon us and though the temperatures here are still in the 90’s butΒ my brain is ready for all the pumpkin, fall colors and cooler temps. I’ve started to convert my house to fall dΓ©cor and I can actually pretend it’s cool when I’m sipping my coffee in the comfort of the AC. Maybe fall temps will hit Texas soon.

I am SO excited about my line up for my Fall TBR. These books look amazing and I only wish I could read them all at once because it’s hard to choose which to read first.

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a different question is posed and gives us bloggers an opportunity to share our top tens on all different types of bookish topics.

My Fall TBR

FALLTBRDo you have any of the same book on your fall TBR? I am nearly done with Burn (SO GOOD) and I’ve started Blackhearts. I have zero self control. I can’t believe I’ve not read Queen of Shadows yet. I think all the hype and my own expectations have intimidated me.

The Immortal Heights is one of my most anticipated books of the year. I can’t wait to get my hands on that book.
I’ve been on the fence about reading the Throne of Glass series. What with all the drama I’m seeing in that fandom I’ve decided to read the series once every book is out so I can read it all in one sitting. Great list.

Have fun with Queen of Shadows! I really liked it and my expectations had been super high as well. I plan to read Snow Like Ashes this fall so that I can continue with Ice Like Fire when it comes out. πŸ™‚

I can’t believe you haven’t read Queen of Shadows yet either. It’s so fantastic. That’s a great stack of books! I’m planning to read Ice Like Fire and Soundless but they’re not on my list today. Also, is Blackhearts amazing? I can’t wait to read it!

I really really really really really want to read Soundless. That’s tied first with The Rose Society. (Second is probably A Madness So Discreet.) As for the others, Ice Like Fire is on my TBR list, and so are Queen of Shadows, The Immortal Heights, and The White Rose (though I need to catch up on those three series, first). I guess I’ll add Burn to the list too, since you seem to like it so much. πŸ™‚

I finished Blackhearts earlier this week. It’s spectacular. I hope you like it and Queen of Shadows. They are probably two of my favorite novels I’ve read this year. I’m really looking forward to Ice Like Fire this October. That’s quite the stack you have there!

If you feel like all the hype will take away from your love of QoS, push it back a little… but spoilers abound already so, I dunno what to recommend!

I’m so excited about Ice Like Fire, even if I’ve read some less than stellar reviews for it…

Hope you’ll get some autumn like weather soon! πŸ˜‰

Wow, your list looks good! I’m very jealous of all of your ARCs. Dreamstrider looks incredible, plus the cover is gorgeous. I really want to read Ice like Fire too! I haven’t read any of the Throne of Glass series yet, but have them all sat on my shelf so will hopefully get round to those soon! Happy Reading! πŸ™‚

Really happy I came across your blog. I am always so excited to get YA recommendations and I have added so many books to my TBR list (thank you!) There is a pretty new YA book out that I have been telling all of my friends about called “Convergence” by author Trudie Hayes ( It is a really fun and exciting book that follows preteens Marissa, Otis, and Chandler on their first day of school. Little do they know that they will be thrown together after a series of bizarre events that will lead them on a journey to the past and the future. They find they are a part of an old ancestry line with a very real and scary adversary. It’s a book I couldn’t put down and a great mix of sci-fi, fantasy, and a coming of age story with a wonderful message. Hope you and your readers will check it out
