Top Ten Tuesday- Top Ten Books I’m looking forward to in 2016

I decided to feature the Top Ten Books I’m looking forward to in 2016. This is nearly impossible to only list 10 so I narrowed it down by only including the books that have covers so far and the ones I’ve not read already. I’ve also selected beginnings of new series (or stand alones) and not series continuations. If you want to see my 2016 list of books you can check it out here on Goodreads.

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a different question is posed and gives us bloggers an opportunity to share our top tens on all different types of bookish topics. This week’s topic:

I actually haven’t heard of any of these books prior to reading your list today! so you gave me some good ideas to add to my TBR! i have a feeling 2016 is going to be a great book year! great post!

  2. says

Most of these books are on my tbr too! There’s so many great books that released in 2016. So glad you enjoyed A Study in Charlotte, I requested it too and hopefully they accepted 🙂 Blackhearts sounds interesting too. Anyway, great topic!

  3. says

Riders and Rebel of the Sands are two of my most anticipated books next year. Riders in particular because I love Veronica Rossi’s writing and so far she has consistently delivered. I’m also intrigued by A Study in Charlotte so I’m definitely going to have to check it out. Great choices.

I think we are all fighting that mountain of September books! haha. SO MANY RELEASES. I can’t wait to start Into The Dim myself. I hope we both love it.

I just got a copy of Blackhearts today! So excited to start reading it! Have you started yet? I’m planning on reading it as soon as I finish The Scorpion Rules. I’m looking forward to Assassin’s Heart and Rebel of the Sands as well. They both have great covers and sound amazing. Hopefully I’ll get approved for the ARC requests! What did you think of Burning Glass? The cover intrigues me but I haven’t looked into it much.

    • says

YESSSSS. Isn’t the cover for Blackhearts lovely. I think I’ll be reading it next month. Are you liking The Scorpion Rules? It gets mixed reviews but I really enjoyed it. So many amazing books next year!! I need them all.

  5. says

YES, I wasn’t sure I loved the cover at first but it has really grown on me. I want it sooooo badly. OH! I read Truthwitch and totally forgot to add it to my “read” list! Great catch! I have no clue how it slipped my mind!

  6. says

I’m so excited for the next Veronica Rossi novel! Loved Under The Never Sky and I can’t wait to see what she does next!

I don’t recognize any of the other books but those covers! They just get prettier and prettier every year!

  7. says

Ahh, I’m so excited for a few of these too 😀 Especially Riders and the new Cat Winters book. <3 SO EXCITED. Stunning list, Kristen 🙂 I hope you will end up loving all of these books so so much. <3

  8. says

I have four of the ones you have mentioned and am looking forward to those quite a bit as well! And of the three you have already read I own those too so I am looking forward to hearing thoughts very soon. So many good books coming out next year already!

  9. says

I didn’t know it was the same artist who made all these covers! I can now call myself a fan of her work. I do take time to note the authors and publishers of books and try to shed light on those things and people in a team a lot of readers miss but cover artists even slip my mind. So I am going to have to pay more attention to them from now on as well. They deserve to be noticed!
